Topsoil
A screened topsoil is available by the lorry load loose or by tonne bag.
Screening refers to the process of sieving the topsoil to ensure the product is free from foreign objects leaving a fine product. Our screened topsoil is free from stones and debris and is of the highest quality.
Mounted bucket screener can be attached to digger to provide quality screened top soil.
We supply Sharp Sand
Sharp Sand which is also known to as builders’ sand.
It has a gritty texture, which makes it ideal for mixing with concrete for construction. It is suitable for numerous applications such as under paving, laying pavement, mixing with garden soil and under block paving.
Soft Building Sand
We have Soft Building Sand available, this is a finely graded sand with rounded particles and some clay content.
Because its fine, it is very easy to work and creates a very smooth finish. It is most commonly used for bricklaying, internal renders, bedding for pond liner and for joints of crazy paving.
MOT Type 1 Sub-base
MOT type one is a crushed concrete to provide a stable sub-base for road surfaces and pathways.
Our mixture of solids and fines ensures minimal voids in the sub-base material when compacted, giving a strong load bearing layer with a suitably flat surface. Typical use is as a finished surface prior to a top coating of asphalt, concrete, shingle and block paving. Often used with a sand blinding. Both primary and recycled constituents can be used to produce a Type 1 sub-base.
